What happens to a document, from filing to a question asked ten years later
On filing
The document describes itself
A scanned PDF, a photo of a notice board, a meeting recording: the system reads the content, then draws out the title, the issuer, the date, the category and the keywords. Nobody retypes anything.
Once filed
It reaches the people it concerns
Each person follows the sections that concern them. A notice meant for third-year students reaches third-year students, with no hand-kept mailing list.
Years later
It answers a question asked plainly
“What is the second-semester examination timetable?” The system searches the full text of the documents and cites the ones it relies on.
Follow a section, the rest comes to you
Everyone picks the sections that concern them — their department's notices, examination calendars, their programme's documents. As soon as a document is filed there, the notification goes out. No more watching a noticeboard.
Sections followed
- Notices from the Dean's Office
- Calendars and timetables
- Documents from the Computer Science department

Search without knowing the filing plan
You do not always know which section a document was filed under, or what year it dates from. You ask the question the way you would ask someone at the office.
When are the first-semester examinations?
Written examinations run from 12 to 24 January 2027, in the Faculty lecture halls. The department-by-department timetable is in the Dean's notice.
- Notice on the examination timetable — January 2027
- Memo on room allocation — December 2026
- First-semester timetable — October 2026
Every answer cites the documents it relies on. You can open them to check.
A document that leaves the system stays verifiable
Every document leaving the system carries a code to scan. Whoever receives it can confirm, in a second, that it really comes from the Faculty.
